What you have provided here is a very abridged version of the dialogue we had—I suspect because the full version is less flattering than the one decontextualized line you gave me in the text of your hatchet job. As I recall, I asked you to give me your trust as a man (not as a journalist) that you would not make me regret allowing you to linger. I sincerely doubt that you believe the piece you published here accords with the trust I gave you.
Perhaps you think your political agenda excuses an abrogation of the standard norms of trust between men. I can only speak for myself in saying that, if the shoe were on the other foot, I would personally hold myself to a higher standard of honoring the trust given to me.
In any event, I believe much in this article is calumnious and uncharitable. Nonetheless, if you have any modicum of integrity, you will at minimum remove the photos which include the models. They are not complicit in any ideological agenda you wish to target, and I see no reason why these pictures are essential—except for sensationalism and exploitation. I’ve expressed a grievance on my own behalf, but more importantly I think on their behalf you really ought to remove these photos to protect the models from the situation in which they found themselves.
Correct. The models did not give him consent to use their images and he has put them at risk. He also does a libel on an event produced by a Jewish organizer, not to mention that he publicly brags about betraying you in it. For what, exactly? A job at The Guardian? There were not fascists or nazis at Fiume. There were performance artists and supporters.
💯

Good takes but seems like you could really blur out the faces of the models considering the context?
You’re lying for attention and I’m also very public about being Jewish, but I suppose this is what gets you clicks now?
You have reached and perhaps surpassed the Crump Zone! Brilliant and erudite takedown.
